Manuelita, estoy
muy emocionada de que haya llegado este día. Eres mi mejor amiga, y a una mejor
amiga uno quiere que sólo le sucedan cosas buenas, como esta decisión que han
tomado con Miro, a quien quiero de todo corazón porque te hace sonreír desde el
primer día. Tener una buena amiga es algo muy fuerte, es como estar siempre
acompañada, incluso aunque el desierto sea eterno. La Manuelita para mí es lo
mejor que me ha pasado. Y pienso que Miro es lo mejor que le ha pasado a ella.
Te agradezco, Miro, por haber esperado agazapado, y con paciencia haber llegado
en el momento oportuno para hacer florecer a quien considero una de las mujeres
más bonitas del planeta. Te admiro tanto Manuela, no hay dos personas como tú
en este espacio de tierra suspendido, me sorprendes todo el tiempo, tu amor, tu
inteligencia, tu sabiduría, tu cariño, no tienen límites, y creo que no me
equivoco al decir que el mundo es mejor porque estás aquí, y que me faltarían
vidas para agradecer lo que ha sido para mí tenerte, en la porción de
existencia que me ha sido dada. Considero que casarse es un acto de coraje, y
que la composición de su sustancia es totalmente libre, y que es posible y
deseable rellenarlo de lo que realmente salga de las tripas. La Manuela y Miro
son personas auténticas y pobladas de magia por lo que creo que esos días
juntos serán días felices y profundos, además que uno jamás podría vivir una
vida intrascendente con la Manuela al lado, todo en ella es interesante y
divertido. La Manu tiene una infinita capacidad de reírse de sí misma y de
cualquier obstáculo o delirio, y creo que esa cualidad es la que nos hace poder
realmente sonreír al observar a otros, y la que nos hace avanzar cada hora del
tiempo disponible. La Manuela tiene un corazón compasivo que vuelve benevolente
cualquier despropósito. La bondad de la Manu llega a emocionar. Es una bondad
que con el tiempo se manifiesta más intensa, cada año cerca de ella veo esa
línea que se expande y tiene más y más significado. Como ir distraído y ver de
pronto un picaflor en movimiento que revela algo muy fundamental, como que el
amor es el encuentro para nutrirse y brillar, para esparcir belleza por haber
encontrado el propio camino y lo que más resuena en uno. Unirse a alguien es un
acto de coraje y el amor es un acto de rebeldía contra la uniformidad. Amando
nos encontramos y algo nace, esa capacidad de mirar a los ojos porque el
paraíso existe y queremos también que esté en el otro. La Manu y Miro han
tomado la decisión de ser inmigrantes, y ese acto también es valiente y creo
que puede hacer surgir en ellos y entre ellos algo intenso y bello, la ocasión
de crear un mundo propio, diverso y amoroso. Un mundo abierto y dispuesto a
comprender. Esta fiesta es maravillosa, y una circunstancia única, como todo lo
que hace la Manuela, algo inolvidable, porque está zurcido siempre con el alma.
A Miro le veo la misma cualidad, así es que imagino que la tela que están
creando es algo esencial y bello, las ganas de no querer pasar por alto al
destino que acecha. Manu, Miro, los adoro, espero que la experiencia sea
fundamental como todo lo que emprenden, gracias por hacernos parte de esta
